Fine etched strokes define the layered feathers across the crow’s chest and wings, giving the bird an almost illuminated texture that catches light along the carved edges.
Behind the crow’s head, the bust flares into a gently curved backdrop resembling a fragment of night sky. More sgraffito carvings sweep across this surface. At the top edge sits a softly glowing full moon that contrasts with the dark body. The moon’s surface is lightly incised with crater-like markings, and thin scratches radiate outward like whispering light trails.
